On Monday, December 15, in Mehrestan in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province, a young woman named Hajar Rasouli was shot dead by her husband. According to local activists, the shooting was a result of a family dispute and she was hit by five bullets.

A man, named Jamal, tried unsuccessfully to calm the gunman and was accidentally hit by a bullet, injuring him. We are happy to receive any leads!

Man shoots wife with shotgun over family conflict

On October 11, a man killed his wife with a shotgun in a village near the city of Nehbandan. Within 24 hours of the murder, he was arrested by the police. He stated that he got the gun from a person and that he killed his wife because of a family conflict.


The person who supplied the illegal shotgun was subsequently also arrested and 339 bullets were seized.We are happy to receive any leads!

Man arrested for killing his ex-wife in Saveh

In late December, the police emergency center was notified of a suicide of a woman in a residential home in the city of Saveh. Because the police did not trust it, an investigation was launched.

Experts determined that the 29-year-old woman was murdered and the suspicion of detectives was on her ex-husband, who is in prison.

After collecting evidence, her ex-husband was arrested. During interrogations, he confessed to killing his wife while on leave from prison due to some family conflicts. The court’s decision is nowhere to be found.

Former director of prison shoots his wife to death in Jiroft
